Radhika Makadia, DMD

Dr. Radhika Makadia is the Dental Director at Fourth Street Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) in India and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She practiced dentistry in India before continuing her career in the United States, where she has provided care for the past six years.

Growing up in a dental family shaped her early understanding of how deeply oral health affects overall wellbeing. Her father previously practiced dentistry in Malawi, a country in southeastern Africa, which influenced her commitment to expanding access to care in underserved communities.

Prior to joining Fourth Street Clinic, Dr. Makadia served as a Faculty Clinician and Lead Outreach Clinician at the University of Utah School of Dentistry, where she led mobile outreach efforts and partnered with Juvenile Justice Youth Services (JJYS) to increase dental access for vulnerable youth. Dr. Makadia believes compassionate, integrated care restores both health and dignity. She understands that many patients carry fear or past trauma related to dental treatment and is committed to creating a space where patients feel safe, heard, and respected.
