We do not have any open phlebotomist, MA, CNA or RN volunteer opportunities open at this time.

Fourth Street Clinic welcomes volunteers! There are a number of opportunities for licensed professionals, group projects, and individuals from the community. There are also plenty of chances to volunteer at upcoming events, regardless of your background.

Requirements for All Volunteers: 

  • Fourth Street Clinic asks for a commitment of at least 6 months.
  • All volunteers must be fingerprinted and pass a background check (these services are paid for by Fourth Street Clinic).
  • Due to licensing restrictions, Fourth Street Clinic cannot offer community service hours.

For Licensed Providers (MD, PA, NP):

  1. Fill out the online Volunteer Application
  2. Email your resume or CV to volunteer@fourthstreetclinic.org
  3. We’ll arrange a meet and greet with our Medical Director to answer any questions you have about volunteering at Fourth Street Clinic.Please be aware that we will need to allow time for credentialing. Malpractice coverage may be available.

For Individuals:

  2. Fill out the online Volunteer Application
  3. The Volunteer Orientation gives you the opportunity to learn about Fourth Street Clinic and what you need to become a volunteer.

For Groups:

  • Email our Volunteer Engagement Manager at volunteer@fourthstreetclinic.org to determine if there are any group projects available. You must schedule one month in advance, at minimum. Most group projects are available on the weekends and do not involve patient interaction.

Open Volunteer Opportunities

Pharmacy Clerk:
The Volunteer Pharmacy Clerk supports the daily operations of the nonprofit clinic’s pharmacy by assisting pharmacists and pharmacy staff with patient services, administrative, clerical, and inventory-related tasks. This role helps ensure accurate medication dispensing, efficient workflow, and compassionate service to underserved patients. The Volunteer Pharmacy Clerk plays an important part in advancing the organization’s mission to improve access to affordable healthcare.

4-8 hours per week, M-F 9-5

Patient Screener:
The Volunteer Patient Screener plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient clinic experience. This position is responsible for greeting patients, conducting initial screening, and ensuring accurate information is collected to support a smooth intake and waiting room process.

4 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
