Paul is a native of Salt Lake City who holds a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah. After graduation, he moved to upstate New York to pursue a Master’s in Child and Family Studies at Syracuse University where a course on Work & Family Issues inspired him to pivot to a career in Human Resources. After returning to Utah, he earned a Master’s in Human Resources from Utah State University, which included an international study trip in Cape Town to examine Human Resources within a multi-cultural context in post-apartheid South Africa.
After two years in corporate Human Resources with Supplemental Health Care, a travel nursing company located in Park City, Utah he joined the Benefits & Retirement team at Intermountain Healthcare in 2015. A promotion to Human Resources Consultant at Cassia Regional Medical Center took him to Burley, Idaho before a restructuring of all Supplemental Health Care functions at Intermountain in 2018 shifted him to Talent Acquisition. After leaving Intermountain in 2019, he led the HR functions at multiple companies in Burley until the opportunity to return to Salt Lake as Human Resources Director at Fourth Street Clinic emerged! With his passion for maximizing employees’ sense of fulfillment in their careers and lives, Paul is excited to be aligned with the mission of Fourth Street Clinic, partnering with our diverse workforce to provide relief to those experiencing homelessness.
